Tis The Season of Splendor

Tis The Season of Splendor

One day as I was driving down the highway I saw an electronic billboard with these very words “Tis The Season of Splendor”. When I read this I immediately began to feel an abundance of Joy in my heart. There is a  surface Joy at times in our lives which brings a temporary happiness, but the Joy I experienced was deep in my heart.  I was suddenly overwhelmed with both Joy and Peace and began to pray and ask God why the words on the billboard were having this effect on me.  He began to tell me about His splendor. It comes at a time you least expect it and will catch you off guard.  His splendor is so overwhelming that it becomes physically difficult to breathe it all in at once. Its kind of like when I was a kid riding in the back of a pick-up truck with my face in the wind.  The power of the wind against my face was almost suffocating – but at the same time I felt so free.  His splendor will literally take our breath away!

We are entering the year 2016 in the Splendor of the Lord!
Splendor: Great Brightness or luster; magnificence

Vision:
I had a vision a few weeks ago of a great Light coming through cities.  The Light was so intense it appeared to be roaming through the streets of the cities and touching people that were in the darkest stages of their life. I saw people stepping out of drug addiction, prostitution and deep loneliness. As the Light came through, people suddenly were able to see things more clearly and they experienced life where death had tried to dwell. People who had been lost for years were overwhelmed with intense love from the Father.  As the people began to see themselves they marveled and wondered how they even got there.

There are absolutely no limitations to what the splendor of God can do!
I like the way Smith Wigglesworth talks about this in one of his messages:
As soon as Paul saw the light from Heaven above the brightness of the sun, he said, “Lord, What do you want me to do?” (Acts 9:6) And as soon as he was ready to yield, he was in a condition where God could meet his need, where God could have the man.

Yieldedness is the Key this season!!!
The Kings and priests are arising to take their position.
His blood purifies everything with great power.  The world illuminates our darkness but God illuminates our beauty!

Warriors – raise your cup tonight! ‘Tis the season of splendor!

Happy New Year!

Isaiah 62:3
You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
