Tis The Season of Splendor

Tis The Season of Splendor

One day as I was driving down the highway I saw an electronic billboard with these very words “Tis The Season of Splendor”. When I read this I immediately began to feel an abundance of Joy in my heart. There is a  surface Joy at times in our lives which brings a temporary happiness, but the Joy I experienced was deep in my heart.  I was suddenly overwhelmed with both Joy and Peace and began to pray and ask God why the words on the billboard were having this effect on me.  He began to tell me about His splendor. It comes at a time you least expect it and will catch you off guard.  His splendor is so overwhelming that it becomes physically difficult to breathe it all in at once. Its kind of like when I was a kid riding in the back of a pick-up truck with my face in the wind.  The power of the wind against my face was almost suffocating – but at the same time I felt so free.  His splendor will literally take our breath away!

We are entering the year 2016 in the Splendor of the Lord!
Splendor: Great Brightness or luster; magnificence

Vision:
I had a vision a few weeks ago of a great Light coming through cities.  The Light was so intense it appeared to be roaming through the streets of the cities and touching people that were in the darkest stages of their life. I saw people stepping out of drug addiction, prostitution and deep loneliness. As the Light came through, people suddenly were able to see things more clearly and they experienced life where death had tried to dwell. People who had been lost for years were overwhelmed with intense love from the Father.  As the people began to see themselves they marveled and wondered how they even got there.

There are absolutely no limitations to what the splendor of God can do!
I like the way Smith Wigglesworth talks about this in one of his messages:
As soon as Paul saw the light from Heaven above the brightness of the sun, he said, “Lord, What do you want me to do?” (Acts 9:6) And as soon as he was ready to yield, he was in a condition where God could meet his need, where God could have the man.

Yieldedness is the Key this season!!!
The Kings and priests are arising to take their position.
His blood purifies everything with great power.  The world illuminates our darkness but God illuminates our beauty!

Warriors – raise your cup tonight! ‘Tis the season of splendor!

Happy New Year!

Isaiah 62:3
You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

Relentless

Relentless

Many people who are in ministry walk around happy like if life is perfect. Only people that are close to them know the struggles in their life. The Lord has always had me be transparent about my life and be real. We need to learn to be honest with one another. Some times you have days where you are tired and you just pray for the strength of the Lord to keep pushing you forward. If we all act like everything is ok all the time how are we to minister to one another and encourage one another. Sometimes people need to hear the reality of ministry because when they are going through something then they wouldn’t feel crazy or horrible about how they are feeling. We are all human with real human emotions. We get hurt and sometimes deal with sorrow in our lives but it doesn’t mean we stay there. We are overcomers of course. Being in media is not always easy and perfect but it is what God has called me to do. I recently had a person share with me how they had this whole lay out what they wanted to say in a camera but once camera turned on they couldn’t even remember what to say. I am sure a lot people have been there before. The Lord told me to share with them times I have had doing videos and my true disasters. I could of easily pretended like I didn’t know what they were talking about but then where is the humility at in that. If we want to bring change to this generation its good to began to share our over coming moments. Teaching this generation that ministry is not perfect but so worth every part we are privileged to partake of.

I read this poem the other day that I wanted to share with you that was so encouraging:

Relentless

Relentless,that’s what you are.
You never give up.
You are ………………..
Like some weeds in the ground that never stop growing.
Like the Sun that never stops shining.
You are relentless.
Relentlessness is ………………….
Like God the Spirit who doesn’t quit moving.
Like Love that doesn’t quit growing.
You are relentless.
You don’t give up.
By Rakay Smith 13 years old

Be encouraged today! No matter how our emotions can spiral up or down at times in ministry. We are called to be overcomers and be relentless after Jesus. KOF (keep on fire) press forward onto the next great thing God has in store for you!!!!

Revelation 12:11-and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Self Storage

"Self Storage"

Several nights back I was driving back to service from running home. I had traveled along this street many times before but this particular time a sign was so vivid and highlighted to me the sign was red and said SELF STORAGE. I began to pray and ask God why of all the many times I past through there before he was high lighting this to me now.

Ok so here is where I get transparent with you the Lord has been taking me through self reflection which has not been very fun but has brought such great change in my life. These past months I felt like I had been in the biggest fight of my life. I have been in ministry for some time now and I discovered that in your own identity there is so much more to know than just who you are in Christ. In the natural I have been in a war to get my drivers license here in Alabama. Your drivers license shows who you are in the natural. I knew because the task at hand was so extreme for me to do on my own it was greater than just me it had to do with the body of Christ. Which now has me writing this article.

Last night as I past by that sign I was reminded of the previous war fare I had been in I then begin to see a vision on how we have a SELF STORAGE with in our selves. Just like in the natural people some times put things in a storage to preserve or horde things. I began to see that in the spirit in peoples lives we ourselves tend to store things in ourselves that God never intended us to store in our hearts and in our selves. There are two sides to this diagram we can store hurt from past experiences that when something comes up that looks like the time before of the hurt we felt we think it’s a attack but really it’s the Lord allowing us to see what is still in our heart we need to completely let go and give it to him. The battle has never been for us from past hurts or experiences in the Kingdom of God he’s about restoration and unity. Things we have experienced in the past sometimes the enemy will have us approach it the same way we did in the past but for every new season there is new strategy God gives us.

Today chose to let go of your SELF STORAGE so that God can begin to bring you the new. We sometimes can have a proverty mind set with the things of God not realizing it. You cant keep pushing things down in your soul thinking they will magically disappear but let them surface so you can begin to empty it out. We all have Kingdom business to take care of but it first starts with us in order to have unity in the body of Christ.

Psalms 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.

2 Kings 20:5 5 “Go back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord.

Doors Flinging Wide

God Opens Doors No Man Can Shut

We have been having such a hard time with our ac in our vehicle. We took it to the shop for what seemed like the 1,000 time. They said it was the actuator door that it didn’t want to stay open. At that moment I said God what does that mean the door didn’t want to stay open to send in the cool air to my vehicle. So the guy comes in who was checking our car and says we are going to knock on it to see if the door opens back up. I sat there and said ok God so now this guy is talking my language and immediately thought of that scripture:

Matthew 7:7
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

I immediately started praying and in intercession I told myself this will not be a burden on me or my family. Minutes later the guy comes back in talks to my husband and says door is open the ac is working great. I wanted to shout and jump up because the guy says to my husband I guess that Angel you have with you
Opened the door. As I was driving away I began to thank the Lord for what he did.

I Heard the Lord say “Doors are flinging open !!!!” with such boldness in his tone. I am flinging those doors open !!!! They are opening today!!! Not tomorrow or yesterday but now!!!

Revelations 3:8
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

This past month we have been so pressed in every way but we didn’t give up the more the enemy pressed the more we prayed. In the pressing like a olive gets pressed the more the oils come out of it so it is with us.

Some of you are being so pressed right now. You can’t give up you have to keep moving forward don’t stop doing the things you know in your heart God has called you to do. In the pressing sometimes the junk comes up but it comes up to come out to look more like Christ.

I was reminded today of a time I wanted to give up I had been so busy doing ministry things and I was so tired. I remember it was in the middle of a conference. I remember waking up saying to my husband I just don’t want to go today. Being in leadership we had to be present. I went to service that morning I was the only one in the hallway sitting waiting to greet the people that arrived when I felt overwhelmed and wanted to just leave and stop everything. Not just everything at that moment but ministry all together. I remember telling the Lord I need you to show up today not tomorrow but now or I am going to completely give up and walk away from everything. The next minute everything went silent in the room I could no longer hear the worship team playing on the other side of the door. Time completely stopped in the natural.  I felt this fear come upon all over my body I could not move. Then all of a sudden the double doors of the church flung open and I saw this wind come in and then this Angel appeared. He was wearing this old leather attire on his body like an old warrior and had a sash across the front of his chest and he had arrows in the sash. His hair was curly and his skin so beautiful and perfect. I heard the I am here now you cannot give up. What seemed like hours was only seconds.

Our friend Paul Keith Davis has this book called Angels that Gather in it he talks about how he was going through a troubled time and Bob Jones had advised him that “ The Tares of your soul are blossoming; the Lord is sending the Angels that gather them and remove them by the roots to be burned.” The book goes on to say
The Lord was causing the base nature to begin to blossom so he would call upon his mercy and Grace for their removal.

I believe this is the time we are in NOW !!! With allowing the Lord to tare our soul
This is the pressing we have been feeling. Be encouraged we are not alone the Angels that gather are here!!!

As one of our friends said one time said “Grace for your Destiny” be upon you!!!

Let Me Be Brave

"Let Me Be Brave"

I was in worship tonight when I saw this written on a person standing in front of me “Let Me Be Brave”. I started to ask God what that exactly meant and what did that look like. Bravely looks differently to every one. Sometimes our meaning of bravery

Is walking away or giving up the very thing God has called you to do. In reality that’s a lie and deception. True bravery comes when you stand in the same position where God has placed you not understanding what he’s doing, to create endurance.

Being Brave means:

Possessing or exhibiting courage or courageous endurance

Endurance Means:

The ability or strength to continue or last, especially despite fatigue, stress, or other adverse conditions

When things get difficult or hard it just means greater the out come, greater the fruit that will be produced. We are called to be over comers. Over coming even our hurt inside, things people have done to us in the past. Opening our hearts to allow God to heal us of hurt in our hearts. Be encouraged to press in and press forward in what God has for you.

Ask God to help you Be Brave!!!

Romans 5:3-5

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
